1. Principal's Message
Dear High Gate International Academy Families,
As we come to the close of the 2024–2025 academic year, I would like to take a moment to reflect on a year of remarkable growth, learning, and community building at High Gate International Academy. This year has been defined not only by memorable events, but by strong academic progress, student development, and a deepening of our shared values as a school community.
Throughout the year, our students have demonstrated resilience, curiosity, and commitment to learning. Across all levels, from Nursery to Grade 6 we have seen academic improvement, increased confidence in both English and French, and growing independence in critical thinking and problem-solving. Our teachers have worked diligently to support diverse learning needs, ensuring that every child is guided, challenged, and encouraged to reach their full potential.
The 2024–2025 year also strengthened our bilingual identity and international outlook. Through curriculum enrichment, partnerships, and classroom practice, students engaged meaningfully with language, culture, science, sports, and the arts. We remain proud of the inclusive, nurturing environment we continue to build one where students feel safe, valued, and inspired to learn.
As we celebrate key milestones, particularly the graduation of our Nursery 3 learners and our first cohort of Grade 6 students, we also look ahead with optimism. This year positions us strongly for continued academic excellence, innovation, and growth in the years to come.
I would like to sincerely thank our parents for their trust and partnership, our teachers and staff for their dedication, and our students for their enthusiasm and perseverance. Together, we are shaping a vibrant learning community committed to excellence, respect, and lifelong learning.
Warm regards,
Mrs. Samantha Bwiza
